Do you remember in Chiropractic school when our professors tried to be oh so politically correct and they preached the mantra : "it all works"? That never agreed with me. How could "it all work"? That would mean that it didn't matter what we did, why don't we all just do a flying 7 on every patient it "it all works"? Why don't we all just... NEVER take an x-ray or do a detailed exam if "it all works"?
Bottom line, I'm far from being even remotely convinced that "it all works"!
I'll go a step further and make a statement: IT DOESN'T ALL WORK! If it did, why do so many of us see the mistakes of so many other health care practitioners? Our patient with chronic headaches that saw the MD, saw the PT, saw the one size fits all Chiro.. and they are no better, then they come and see YOU...you use your expertise and skills to assess, and you find something that nobody else was looking for... you now address it, and BOOM, the patient gets better.
It didn't "all work"... They needed a specific approach!
